Hadron state description sheet
State title
gtSnapper
Type of sound
Rhythmic “snapping” texture, starting fast and decelerating to half of the start tempo.
Each sound particle is routed separately to stereo left/right and to internal banpassfilters.
Timbral animation (wavemix) by LFO and by note number modulo.
Controllers
Expression1: Grain rate mod (tempo)
Expression2: Transposition, original pitch at 0%, down 5 octaves at 50%, then up one octave at 100%
Expression3: Modification of output routing (channel masks). Bandpass frequency (increase) and bandwidth (decrease)
Expression4: Manual time pointer, what part of the source waveforms to read
Midi keyboard control
Note Number: Pitch FM frequency. Wavemix X axis (crossfade between source 1+3 and 2+4).
The wavemix parameter is controlled by a note number modulo,
so the same wavemix is repeated every 4 notes, e.g. C and E has the same wavemix
Velocity: Amp
Suggested source waveform
Slot1: Any Sampled waveform, e.g. Cello.wav
Slot2: Any Sampled waveform, e.g. VibLineDistTone3.wav
Slot3: Any Sampled waveform, e.g. Planet2.wav
Slot4: Any Sampled waveform, e.g. PadWsSeq1_C4.wav
* Sounds with significant timbral variation over time will give more animated results.
Waveform sources/slots used: 1,2,3,4
Mask tables
Channelmask:
A: Left, Right, Bandpass1, Bandpass2 (loop length=4 particles)
B: Left, Right, BP1, BP2 BP1, Right, BP22 (loop length=7 particles)

Octave: original playback when Expression 2 is at 0%
